To put the Jane Austen Fan Fiction genre into perspective, the first JAFF book was by Sybil Brinton in 1913. Margaret Dashwood, or, Interference was published in (1929) and Susan Price, or, Resolution (1930) – by Edith Charlotte Brown. Therefore JAFF is not a new venture. Today it is an ongoing and ever expanding genre.
